Hello there!
Began my first maternity leave, embracing motherhood while navigating postpartum depression. After a few months, I found joy in my new role and began thinking about my next chapter.
2019 - WELCOMED BABY BOY
Secured a position at a Fortune 500 company, where I quickly climbed the ladder. Completed my Master's in Communication & Technology while working full-time. No regrets - I loved this career while it was right for me.
2011 - LANDED AT A FORTUNE 500
Landed my first job straight out of my post-graduate program, jumping into the big world of corporate life with high hopes and ambition.
2009 - CORPORATE LAUNCH
My Journey
COVID hits. I returned to work remotely. The daily grind was bearable, but I started to feel a growing boredom with corporate life. My mind was elsewhere!
2020 - RETURNING TO WORK DURING COVID
We weren't surprised. COVID kind of sped up our family plan! I did fall very ill within a few days of my planned induction. Because of Covid, I was hospitalized, isolated, and all alone. This was hard...
Later in 2020 - PREGNANT AGAIN!
Baby #2 is here. She had to spend time in the ICU. Covid was still in full swing. The thought of returning to the office was becoming less and less appealing. I decided to take an 18 month leave 🇨🇦.
2021 - WELCOMED BABY GIRL
After months of planning and late nights, I hosted my first official launch. I signed 7 clients in a $1500, 3 month program, and began building the foundation of what would become my business.
EARLY 2022 - MY FIRST BIG LAUNCH
Watched a free training on network marketing. It turned out to be a sales pitch for online business coaching, but it sparked something inside me. I decided to invest 5 figures in a coaching program, dreaming of time and financial freedom.
LATE 2021 - BUSINESS INSPO HITS HARD
With clients staying onboard, my business growing, and referrals pouring in, I made the leap. I officially left my corporate job and went full-time into my business.
BEST DECISION EVER!
Mid 2022 - Bye-Bye CORPORATE WORLD!
Launched a passion project business called Back East Co, Newfoundland's Brand.
Made $3K in sales in the first month of business.
Nov 2023 - Launched a 2nd Business
Husband was laid off (scary and excited!)
Decided to move the family to Newfoundland (where I am from).
Got married!
Loving our entrepreneurial life.
2024 - MORE CHANGE!
There is always something on the horizon. We are just getting started.
